Note: older MPP Solar inverters (pre-Q4 2022) do not come with CANbus pins, so this information will not be applicable.
after implementation, user can then select “LIA” option from battery type setting for BMS communication via CANbus.
user still needs to prepare a BMS cable with correct pinouts on both ends – inverter & battery. Default CANbus pins on MPP Solar inverter BMS port are 6 and 7. User needs to contact battery supplier for correct pinout on battery itself.
